This message which I published on A Mending Feast a few years ago came on my heart again this morning. For, do you hear it? The alarm of war is sounding. Let us, then, put on our beautiful wedding garments, and go forth with our Beloved to the battle!
Our beloved old friend CL Moore, who years ago came up from Oklahoma from time to time to minister in our midst, told us once he’d seen a vision of the bride of Christ. She was dressed in pure white linen, and her beauty was breathtaking. But then CL noticed something very incongruous. She was wearing army boots!
Now, there are several places in Scripture that reveal it is not in the least strange that this bride is prepared for war. But let us get the emphasis right. It is the bride who is prepared for war.
First this:
Let us be glad, and rejoice, and give honour unto Him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His bride hath made herself ready.

a bride in combat boots, that adds without subtraction to my existence which is
all His!!! I do so appreciate the article.Brother Allan God has blessed your
obedience. Glory!! Glory!! Halelujah!! His Truth is marching on followed by
His bride in war boots. (!!!!) Lit up a bunch of brain cells and continued and
continues to drain into my heart. Papa God bless the giving heart and all

Hi Allan, seen the bride in war boots today on Facebook, felt a real quickening when I saw those words,
I believe we are close to an major event taking place, feeling a real dread in the spirit today.
I think the center of it will take place in the middle east, which will affect the nations.

Thanks, Joe, good to hear from you. I too expect that great upheaval is at hand. It is good to remind ourselves that it is the Lamb on the throne who opens the seals and sends forth the horsemen of the Apocalypse. It is all about the unveiling of Jesus Christ. Let us anticipate this!

I let my blog go dormant for a few years. Today I felt the Lord encourage me to restart it, I will add to it as the Lord provides.
